What's a bouquet subscription?

A subscription is a way to purchase multiple bouquets at once, either for pickup or delivery. The bouquet will be available at the same time each week.

So for example, if you select a 4 week bouquet subscription with a summer start for delivery: for 2023 that means starting Tuesday May 30th I’ll drop a bouquet off in a vase at your home. Then on Tuesday June 6th, I’ll drop off a wrapped bouquet that will fit in the vase you received before. I’ll then repeat that for two more weeks.

During your Subscriptions you will also get weekly emails about what is in your bouquet and how best to care for your flowers.

Why buy a Subscription instead of just Bloom Box flowers? Well as long as nothing catastrophic happens, you are guaranteed flowers, whereas if you stop at the stand, I might be sold out that day. I also tend to spoil my Bouquet Subscribers and give you a little extra bang for your buck.

Why do I have to pre-order? Becka's Blooms is a one woman show. Having you pre-order allows me the necessary time to make sure I have flowers and bouquet supplies available for you, as well as plan delivery routes.

How do I order? By visiting the shop page on the website and clicking on the Bouquet Subscription pre-order.

Can I pay with cash? Yes, Elizabeth can generate a custom invoice for you, but she will not hold your spot until she receives your money. You will also have to spend a minute or two filling out order information such and addresses and contact information.

Can I give these as a gift? Yes, but please make sure you have their contact info and make sure they'll be around when the subscriptions happen. If you aren’t sure, a gift card is always a great option!

In some places you might see this format referred to as a CSA. A CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Basically what this means is that by buying a set number of bouquets ahead of time, you give the farmer (me) money to buy the seeds, soil, tools, and anything else necessary ahead of time to produce the bouquet instead of the farmer having to front all of these costs. It also helps the farmer plan put how many flowers to plant for what season as we can guauge demand.

Subscriptions are an awesome way to support small farms!
